Missouri Boys Basketball - Top 150 teams

After last night's round of games, the top 150 teams looks a little different.  CBC knocked down the doors at Chaminade and blew open a close game after three quarters to win by 15.  Trinity rises to the top spot with that outcome.  South Iron continues to impress with 50+ point win over Viburnum.  Raytown upset Ruskin and Truman upset Liberty KC.

Over at the Denver Miller Tournament in Kirkwood, O'Fallon Illinois survived a close game with McCluer North, U City rocked Hazelwood East, Ladue spanked Kirkwood and the Eureka Wildcats upset a good Jennings squad.

Editor's comments:  When I said "comments were welcome if they help improve the ratings," that I wasn't thinking of demeaning Twitter replies.  What I would ask for is for you to point out games that show a team is consistently better than teams rated above them.  

I have gotten specific feedback from Lift for Life and Ruskin fans or coaches and I looked to see if I had missed results that would rank them higher (or lower).  Lift for Life started slow and has picked up with some great wins.  I hadn't put all of Ruskin's game results into the model.  

If all you have is to comment on is "IMHO my team is better," I can't put that into the statistics.  Right now, looking at a team like Vashon, who might be a 150 rating, I just don't have enough local game results to rate them where they might appropriately belong.  Be patient and the game results will sharpen my ratings.  Right now, I can't rate them against nationally ranked teams that they have beaten because I haven't expanded my model beyond Missouri and local Illinois teams.  When I get more data, ratings will settle in.  

Everyone can have an opinion.  I only ask that you provide me with game scores rather than "go back to your day job" comments.  Thanks
