Missouri Boys High School Basketball - All Class Top 150 12/6/2019

The winter high school basketball schedule is heating up and I am pulling in more scores for the ratings algorithm.  The more comparative results I get, the more robust the ratings become.  You will probably see a lot of movement early on as more scores come in and teams develop a track record.  There are teams below that have not played their first game and their rating is mainly based upon previous years.  If you feel like your team is not rated fairly, be patient.  The season is young and the statistics are "green".  More games will make the model better.

Hopefully I have fixed the issues with district and class assignment from last week's post.  With all the movement in schools from the previous year, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with their classification.

Differences in ratings would be a spread in a head-to-head competition.  No Vegas bets please.  I was talking to my son about the blog and he wondered if kids look at this and go into a game figuring they will win (or lose).   My guess is that any players and coaches looking at these ratings will decide to go out and prove me wrong.  I hope its the later rather than the former.
